Wine Events

We run regular wine events both on- and offsite ranging from wine appreciation courses to fun and interactive tastings and “meet the winemaker” evenings. Stay in touch via our newsletter and social media to see upcoming events. If you have an event in mind in an alternate venue, we can travel to you.

We also offer wine consultancy services for restaurant wine lists, weddings and events.

Our Guerrilla Tastings are informal pop-up tastings – arranged at a moment’s notice – a bit like a flashmob event.

Born during a time when outdoor dining was all we had and the weather played a huge part. When we saw the weather was going to be good, we’d pop-up on the terrace for an informal tasting, pouring flights of wine along a given theme. These tastings proved to be so popular, that we’ve decided to continue them on indoors, keeping that nature of surprise and spontaneity.

Here’s how they work: we pour a flight of wines and serve accompanying bites to match. These aren’t formal tutored tastings. We leave you to your own devices to enjoy the drinks, but give a brief explanation of each wine. The perfect way to catch up with your friends! Tastings generally take place on Wednesdays and there is no set start time – you can basically join us anytime between 5.30pm and 8.00pm.

Wine Tastings & Events

At L’Atitude we’re serious about wine, without taking ourselves too seriously, which is why our wine events are always guaranteed to be fun. We host lots of different tastings from Meet the Maker with visiting winemakers, Pop-Up Natural Wine Dinners with visiting chefs to our own very popular CineCafe and Speed Tastings. We also run Wine Appreciation Courses for anyone wanting to delve a little deeper with their wine knowledge.

Speed Tasting

Like speed-dating, but NOT speed-dating.

If you like wine, socializing, having fun and enjoy a challenge, Speed Tasting is for you!

Here’s how it works: we teach you the basics of how to taste wine and then it’s over to you: you taste 6 wines – but you’ll be on the move: a different table, a different wine, different co-tasters. And here’s the fun part: you taste all the wines blind – it’s up to you to work with your co-tasters to try to guess based on the information provided.

Movies you See & Taste. Showing movies with a food and/or wine theme that incorporates a tasting that ties in with the theme of the movie.

CineCafé: Il Postino

We offer themed L’Atitude-at-home boxes every Friday based on our favourite wine regions/countries. L’Atitude is all about exploring wine and trying something new, so our take-out boxes have wine at its centre designed to bring you on a journey and discover something different. We match tastes to the wine based on our travels and experience of food and wine pairing. The tastes are designed as an aperitif or sharing platter for people to experience different flavours with each sip of wine. There is no set menu and we pair the tastes based on the chosen wine and region that week.

This is pre-order only. Pre-order your box by 12pm on Thursday. Collection is on Friday between 5 and 6.30pm.
