Lapalu Beaujolais Nouveau 2025 Magnum

Jean-Claude Lapalu sits betwixt two anarchial generations of Beaujolais-based natural winemakers. Over the last 30 years, he has cemented himself as a prominent force in minimal intervention practices, his latest Nouveau showcasing this attention to detail in brilliant colour. This silken, structured seductress, enrobed in pale ruby hues, sets the palate alight with crunchy red fruits and hints of pink peppercorn on the finish. A precise expression of Nouveau winemaking that never fails to excite!

Jean Claude created his domaine in 1996 taking on 9 hectares of vines in Brouilly, most of which are over 80 years old. He farms biodynamically, adapts vinification to each plot, uses only indigenous yeasts, and avoids the addition of sulfur, until a minimum quantity is added at bottling.

This profound proliferation of natural methodology liquifies and captures the spirit and terroir of the Beaujolais, to be sipped, savoured, and shared with those you love
