Catherine et Pierre Breton Avis de Vin Fort is a deliciously light Cabernet Franc from famous Loire natural winegrowers Pierre and Catherine Breton. ‘Avis de vin fort’ is a vin de soif (or clairet). Half way between a rosé and a red, it is the ultimate thirst quencher. This saignée is made from macerating Cabernet Franc. Fermentation and aging takes place in large oak vats, the wine is bottled in April following the harvest. The wine is light, juicy with delicious red and black fruit, lively and fresh on the finish.
