Les Foulards Rouges ‘Terre de Feu’ Blanc
Les Foulards Rouges ‘Terre de Feu’ Blanc. A blend of Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, and Macabeo from Languedoc in the south of France.
On the nose is ripe stone fruit, white flowers, and melon. After sipping, the palate is doused in apricot with a touch of salty sea-breeze and delicate creamy texture. The acidity on the finish will leave your mouth asking for another glug. As a result, this wine is perfect for summer sipping and sharing with friends. Les Foulards Rouges ‘Terre de Feu’ Blanc Pairs well with roasted chicken, white fish, or creamy, earthy, savoury mushroom dishes.
Grapes are grown organically on red clay soils in north-facing vineyards. Here cool sea breezes, biodiversity and sustainable practices ensure that grapes are of exceptional quality despite very low yields. After direct pressing and spontaneous fermentation, the wine is aged for 4 months in vats.
Les Foulards Rouges
Founded in 2002 by Jean-François Nicq, Les Foulards Rouges is located in Montesquieu-des-Albères, Languedoc, on the French-Spanish border in the eastern Pyrenees. Organically farming 14 hectares, Nicq employs biodynamic practices, and neither filters, fines, or adds any additional sulfur to the wines of Les Foulards Rouges. The reds are vinified using carbonic maceration, subsequently resulting in wines that are endlessly drinkable. Likewise, the whites are irresistibly juicy and approachable
