GROWER CHAMPAGNE MASTERCLASS & TASTING
Thursday 1st Dec 7pm
Grower Champagnes are not new, but definitely garnering a lot of interest -the beauty of Grower Champagne is that it comes from one vineyard (single estate), so the producers have more control over the fruit that goes into their Champagne. As such they reflect the terroir better, tend to be more unusual, and we believe, are more compelling than many of the Grand Marque Champagnes.
One Dublin man’s fascination with Champagne, specifically with Grower Champagne led him to abandoning his day job to start importing Grower Champagnes into Ireland, and we are very grateful that he did!
We are thrilled to welcome David Cahill of Veraison Wine to L’Atitude for a special Tasting and Masterclass on grower Champagne. Veraison works with a range of small, organic producers making single vineyard champagnes. David’s passion and knowledge for these champagnes is second to none and the wines he imports are remarkable, so this promises to be a very special evening. We first tasted these wines with David over the summer, and were literally blown away by their quality and character, so are excited to organise this tasting so that you can experience the sheer excitement that these wines generate.
Join us for a Masterclass and Tasting of a selection of David’s favourite Champagnes with bites rustled up by the Kitchen Team to match.
Tickets €70 – includes tasting of 6 Champagnes and accompanying bites. Booking essential. Email info@latitude51.ie to book
