When you start your Real Wine Month celebrations with a tasting of the top names in the natural wine world, it’s a hard act to follow, but Le Caveau, Brian’s Wines and Verasion (3 of the most exciting natural wine importers in the country) are teaming up next week for a series of fun tastings and it’s rumoured there’ll be some top-drawer natural wines on show.  

Starting in Dublin and finishing in Galway, they’ll be bringing their wares to Cork on Tuesday 17th May for a Wine Fair Style tasting in L’Atitude. Each importer will pick 12 of ‘their best’ to taste and the L’Atitude Kitchen Team will provide some bites to nibble on whilst you taste your way around 36 wines.

It’s going to be a feast for natural wine lovers and lots of craic – ‘Vins de Copains’, as the name suggests, is a tasting by 3 wine pals for all natural wine fans.           

The event runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, but as this is a wine fair style tasting, there’s no set start or finish time – you go at your own pace. Tickets cost €20 and can be purchased on the door on the day, but you just need to let us know if you’re coming, so that we can give the kitchen an idea of how much food to prepare.

It’s Tuesday, but L’Atitude will be open after the event for anyone who wants to stay on afterwards. The kitchen will be open that evening with a slightly reduced menu.
