May is Real Wine Month – a month long celebration of organic, biodynamic and natural wines.

We have some serious events coming up for all you natural wine anoraks and blind loyalists to the pursuit of sipping, savouring, salivating over ‘real wine’.

Events will be added throughout the month, but pencil these into the diary for now:

Unicorns from the Jura Thurs May 5th 6.30pm. A tasting of very rare wines from natural wine Mecca – The Jura. Tickets €48. Booking essential. 

Vins de Copains Tues 17th May 5.30pm – 7.30pm. 3 of the most exciting natural wine importers in the country (Le Caveau, Brian’s Wines and Verasion) are teaming up for a series of fun tastings. Each importer will pick 12 of ‘their best’ to taste and the L’Atitude Kitchen Team will provide some bites to nibble on whilst you taste your way around 36 wines. Tickets cost €20. Booing advised

Natural Wine Masterclass Sat 28th May 2.30-4.30pm What is natural wine? what does it taste like? how do you recognise it? We’ll be answering these questions and more on the hot topic of natural wine in a special masterclass looking at the background of natural winemaking. We’ll explain the differences between natural wine and conventional wine through a tasting and we’ll dispel some natural wine myths. €50. Booking essential.
