Dard et Ribo Crozes Hermitage Blanc
Very small allocation – only 1 bottle per customer
Dard et Ribo Crozes Hermitage Blanc is a white Rhone blend of Roussanne and Marsanne made by iconic natural winemakers René Jean Dard and François Ribo. It’s a highly drinkable wine with lots of apricot and fresh fruit flavours. The palate plays on freshness, but its multilayered complexity will allow this wine to age and evolve over a number of years. It’s a truly memorable wine.
Fermented with native yeasts, the wine is aged in a mix of 228l and 600l oak casks for 12 months.
The 7.5 vineyard holding is split around seven villages on a variety of terroirs comprising different soil types. The winery is located near Mercurol (a short distance east of Tain l’Hermitage).
‘René Jean Dard and François Ribo have acquired a cult following amongst those who frequent the natural wine bars of France and they are also revered in Japan, the second home of great low sulphur wines’
